The payout review process is the compliance check between your withdrawal request and the money arriving: an audit of the account's rule history, the consistency maths, and your identity documents. It is routine at good firms and the stage where first payouts get the most scrutiny.
What is actually checked, in the order that matters: trading rules (drawdown, news windows, prohibited strategies) across the whole account life, not just the cycle; the consistency share on the cycle being paid; and KYC - FundedNext requires verification after passing and can deactivate accounts if it is not completed within 30 days (help.fundednext.com, checked 28 October 2026). Processing after approval is typically fast: FundedNext within 24 hours of approval, FTMO 1-2 business days.
Why it matters: the review is where "my payout is late" resolves into either patience or a rule problem you did not know about. Keeping your own trade log and reading the prohibited-strategies list before, not after, is the whole defence.
The process in detail: the payout review process; when it ends badly: payout denial.
