A payout denial is a firm refusing a withdrawal request. The reasons cluster tightly: a rule breach found in the audit (news window, prohibited strategy, drawdown touch), a consistency-share failure on the cycle, KYC that is incomplete or mismatched, account-sharing or copy-trading flags, and - at the worst firms - discretionary "risk desk" refusals with thin explanation.

Worked example: a trader requests $6,000 with $3,500 earned on one day and a 30% consistency rule on the account. The share is 58% - the request is deferred, not denied, until more even profit arrives. That is the benign case. The malign cases involve strategies like latency exploitation, which the terms banned all along.

The defence is documentation: your own trade log, the firm's terms archived at purchase, and clean KYC uploaded before the first request. Legitimate firms publish denial reasons; illegitimate ones go quiet. The full refusal taxonomy: why prop firms deny payouts and the red flags in the payouts hub.
