FTMO instant funding is the Instant Account: pay once, and the account activates on purchase with no evaluation to pass. Sizes $5,000-$100,000, one-time fees of $169/$339/$749/$1,499/$2,999, a 90% reward split, a 10% maximum loss, a 3% max daily loss and a 30% consistency rule; leverage up to 1:100, unlimited trading period (ftmo.com, checked 28 October 2026).
The trade-offs against the evaluations: the fee is several times the 2-Step price at the same size, and per FTMO's refund FAQ (checked 25 October 2026) it is not refundable - the pass-based refund that defines the 2-Step does not exist here. What you buy is time: no 10% target to reach before the split starts.
Who it suits: traders whose strategy is already consistent and who value starting the reward clock on day one. Who it does not: anyone who might fail the account early - the fee is the whole downside and it is not coming back. It is also CFD-only; futures funding at FTMO runs through the evaluations. The price context: FTMO account prices; the model generally: instant funding.
